I was drawn to real estate photography several years ago when I started looking for a home. I was amazed at the poor quality of the images that were being used to promote what is, for many people, the most important investment of their lives. A home is a place where life happens, memories are made and a future is grown. The photography needs to make people want to visit the house. It needs to invite someone in, make them feel welcome and most importantly – make it look like a place they would want to live.
In real estate photography, the goal is to capture the space in a way that emphasizes it while remaining authentic. My photos use all available and natural light to accurately showcase each room and space the best way possible so that people will want to visit.
Many houses that I have photographed have had offers or been under agreement within several days to a couple of weeks. I realize that a lot of decisions will be made when marketing your property but good photography needs to be involved and should be one of your primary considerations. It will bring in more, better qualified buyers and get people excited about seeing a space.
